Harry & David Operations Corp., of Medford, Oregon, is recalling approximately 2000 boxes of candies because they may contain undeclared nuts, including peanuts, almonds, pecans, walnuts and cashews. FDA Warns Consumers of Possible Contamination in Olives - posted 04.14.07
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is alerting consumers to possible serious health risks from eating olives that may be contaminated with a deadly bacterium, Clostridium botulinum. C. botulinum can cause botulism, a potentially fatal illness. The olives are made by Charlie Brown di Rutigliano & Figli S.r.l, of Bari, Italy and are being recalled by the manufacturer. Guida's Dairy has issued a recall of all Guida label chocolate milk in half pint containers with an expiration date of 4/13/2007. An earlier version of the recall on Guida’s website indicated only those with a particular production code were included in the recall, but this has since been expanded to include all ˝ pint containers of their chocolate milk with an expiration date of 4/13/07.
